Drupal Meetup

谢谢每人!!
今天晚上很好。 我预料了10个人但是21人来了!

I'm a bit lost for words with this blog post. In short I'm amazed and overwhelmed with emotions. Last night the Drupal community in Beijing (北京, 中国)met for this first time. At least I was told it was the first time. I'm overwhelmed because I was expecting a small group of maybe 6-8 people. I told people that I expected 10 people but to be honest I was just hyping things up. My "lie" didn't matter though because 21 people showed up!

Beijing meetups

With the help of Oleg (litwol on d.o) I have, once again, assumed ownership over another Drupal group. The Beijing Drupal group on g.d.o seems to be rather dead BUT I know there are lot of Drupalers in Beijing. I took over ownership to see if I could help breathe some life back into the group.

Are you a BAD-ass Drupal developer? Ya? Well take your BAD self to the Bay Area Drupal Camp this coming November! You'll meet other BAD developers that just want to mingle with BAD folks.

Version 3.0 ready for Beta!

Posted in

Although I wasn't working on it everyday it has taken me a few weeks to finish up all the little items needed to upgrade userpoints from version 2 to version 3. Version 3 upgrades include several major changes to the module many of which are rather dramatic. In addition to the API change several new features were added. I'll attempt to list them here but I know I'm going to miss quite a few of them.

DrupalCampLA

Drupal Camp LA Diana and I left Denver, Colorado a bit early and flew off to LA so that I could attend DrupalCampLA. The only person I knew at DrupalCampLA was Crystal, the camp organizer. I wanted to attend because this was the first DrupalCamp in Los Angeles and I'm constantly amazed at how quickly Drupal has grown and, more importantly, how strong the community around Drupal is.
